Antoine Guilmain is a lawyer with Fasken (Montreal), and a member of the Information and Privacy Group. He holds a doctorate in information technology law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and the University of Montreal. He works in the areas of privacy, access to information, online advertising and marketing, cybersecurity and intellectual property. He has recently published a book on digital procedure, as well as numerous articles, frequently gives lectures and teaches at several universities.

    External intelligent objects are evolving towards implants in the human body. Initially for medical purposes and now for very varied motivations these devices are connected to both the Internet and the human body. From the "Internet of things" we therefore see the emergence of the "Internet of bodies". Cybersecurity vulnerabilities, legal issues, ethics, take on a new dimension. During the workshop PROTECT HUMAN BODY DATA we will discuss the protection of personal data in the age of the technologically mediated body, with possible solutions.
