Otto is the Managing Director of PwC Canada’s Pharma Life Sciences practice nationally as well as a member of several global pharma client account teams.
Otto specializes in commercial and medical operations transformation for life sciences companies adjusting to new market dynamics.
Over the past 10+ years, Otto has helped a number of established and emerging life sciences clients transform their market approaches to reflect changes in therapy selection and market access. Much of this work focuses on portfolio management through in-licensing, out-licensing, acquisitions, and disposals.
Many of the approaches Otto and his team employ are rooted in a foundation of analytics. On this front, Otto has considerable expertise in developing market simulation models and conducting primary and secondary research to support model assumptions.
Prior to joining PwC, Otto was with Deloitte Canada where he led life sciences within the Strategic Analytics & Modelling and Artificial Intelligence (OMNIA) groups.
Otto is a graduate off the Frank H. Sobey School of Business at St. Mary’s University in Halifax and has a certificate in Crafting and Implementing Business Strategy from University of Toronto.
